National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
Child and Adolescent Psychology Services
The team at Child and Adolescent Psychology Services (CAPS) hold a diversity and wealth of qualifications and experience which are utilised to provide high quality and individually designed support plans for National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Plan Managed or Self-Managed clients. We aim to make each client’s experience a positive and life enhancing one. We do this by providing expert skill and service which supports each client to reach their set goals.
When you reach out to CAPS for NDIS support you can be guaranteed a comprehensive support plan. This is achieved through the implementation of a thorough planning stage which provides the foundation for building a personal targeted holistic program for each NDIS participant we support. This plan is not only based upon our team's experience and knowledge but also encompasses liaison and collaboration with established supports such as case managers, occupational therapists or psychologists.
The provision of supports and services for our clients is overseen by CAPS director Sharon Muir Psychologist. Her direction and supervision ensure that the children, young people and families obtaining our services are provided with high quality care that is informed by her many years of experience in both the fields of education and psychology. This experience enables the provision of services that are underpinned by a strong knowledge and understanding of child development and behaviour and support workers who have the tools to provide the utmost care and support to all of our NDIS clients.
CAPS follows extensive onboarding and compliance policy and procedures that ensures that not only are all CAPS employees properly registered and qualified but are also trained and prepared to deliver the best possible service. CAPS follow DHHS and NDIS Safety commission guidelines and protocols to ensure absolute best practice at all times. CAPS also follows comprehensive personnel development guidelines, enabling all of our staff the opportunity for continued development within the field of NDIS support and out of home care for young people.
